Project Templates are projects that have been pre-filled with content. They can help you outline major plot points for your story, develop your ideas, and fill out characters or settings.

How to Use a Project Template

To use a Project Template, go to the homepage of the app, Your Projects. Select your desired template from the options at the top of the page.

When you select a template, a new project will be created.

The first document in every template is a set of instructions. It will guide you on how to use the template to outline, visualize your story beats, and more.

Project Templates may contain:

• Detailed document-by-document outlines for a story
• Freeform Boards to visualize and plot out the beats of a story
• Suggested Story Elements, such as Characters and Settings
• Research Links to learn more about story structure
