Export Your Manuscript
Learn how to export your manuscript as a docx file from Motif.

If you want to move your work out of Motif to share or edit elsewhere, you can download your Manuscript documents.
Open a project from the Your Projects page of the app. Click the “Settings” icon at the bottom of the left navigation rail. Select “Export Manuscript (docx)” from the dropdown.

This will download your Manuscript documents as a single .docx file.
Please note that this only downloads the documents found in the “Write” tab of your project. The only other download options are to download individual documents within Write or Research, or save individual Freeform Boards.
