Collage Boards
Collage Boards are image galleries you can use to visualize your story.
With Collage Boards, you can search for images inside Motif or upload your own to create mood boards and collect inspiration.
Things to Know
- Only Pro users can create Collage Boards
- If you downgrade from Pro, your Collage Boards will be read-only and images will be gray-scale
How to Create a Collage Board
Open a project from the Your Projects page of the app. Navigate to the “Plan” tab.
Select the “+” icon next to “Boards”, then select “Add Collage Board.” A new board will automatically open named “Untitled”.
To change the name, click the “Untitled” name and enter the new name for your board in the input field.
Add Images Through Search
To search for images, click the “search” icon in the upper right corner of the Collage Board. Input your search query into the search box. Hit “enter” to search.
To add images to your board from the search results, hover over the images. Click “Save to Board”. The images you save will be added to your board when you exit the search drawer.
Upload Images to Your Board
To upload images, click the “upload” icon in the upper right corner of the Collage Board. Select the files you wish to upload.
Depending on size, your images may take a few seconds to save to the board.
Images are capped at 10MB. If you upload an image over 10MB, you will receive an error message that your image is too large.
Images must be .png, .jpg, or .jpeg.
Organize Your Board
You can change the position of images on your Collage Boards. To move an image, click and hold to drag the image to the space where you want it to go.
If you no longer want an image, you can delete it by clicking the “trash” icon in the bottom right corner of the image.
Download Images from Your Board
To save an image from your board to your computer, click the “download” icon in the bottom right corner of the image. Your image will begin downloading.
